The Purpose of Human Education

The author also mentions that learning manners is part of human education so people can communicate comfortably. The Shinto shrine Ishinkai acts as an educational place for these two purposes. Priests teach the natural law during daily lecture time, as well as teach manners through training.

Knowledge and Wisdom

The book contains guidelines for receiving greater wisdom by following the natural law of wisdom. According to the author’s explanation, every action that aligns with natural law positively impacts the world and people. When we have a positive impact, it returns to us as a positive impact as well. It is a karma principle. These actions, which relate to wisdom, include assisting those in need, offering money, and volunteering in the community.

The author describes who the first educators were and how education started. After God created humans in this world, the eight million Gods started to educate them. And we live in the world God created. We need to be aware of the help that we get and those who provide it. In the ancient era, Gods had human bodies and worked as role models for human beings. This way of living is known as the Way of the Gods, or Shinto.

God’s Law

The law that manages the entire universe is called God’s law, natural law, truth, universal law, or divine principles. For some people, God’s law refers to a religious principle, and God is the God of a certain religion. However, the author uses the term “God’s law” interchangeably with “natural law,” which is a universal law created by God. Mathematical principles and the laws of physics are part of natural law, which is universal and applies to all individuals, regardless of ethnicity or faith. God’s law applies not only on the earth but throughout the universe and on other planets.

God Name

On page 213, the universal God’s name for spiritual works is provided. It is a name that is directly linked to the first God and the eight million gods. God created the universe and humans before religions even existed. God’s name is unconnected to religious groupings. The author warns that doubting will result in divine punishment. To avoid such outcomes, we must first comprehend the existence of God.

The Meanings of Life

This book also answers questions about the purpose of life. The author states that the earth is a part of hell in the current era since there are too many individuals that practice wrong actions and thinking. However, the earth is where both people from hell and people from heaven live. Then living on Earth provides an opportunity to receive help or teaching from people from heaven. The author says that our purpose in life is to correct our faults and return to heaven.
